お箸教室のご案内（お箸知育教室in九州）

１－まず　手のひらの大きさを測ります。親指と人差し指を90度に広げ、親指から人差し指までの長さを測ります。（足の大きさー2㎝でもＯＫ）First, measure the palm of your hand by the following method. Make your index finger vertical to your thumb and measure the length between the tip of your index finger and that of your thumb with a ruler. (The same measurement can be made by subtracting 2 cm from the length of your foot.)

①90度（直角）は　紙（計測用シート）の角に手を合わせると簡単です
②紙（計測用シート）を動かし　親指からひとさし指までの長さを測ります。
①It may be easier to make your index finger vertical to your thumb by fitting the two fingers around the corner of the Measuring Sheet.
②Then move the Measuring Sheet around and measure the length between the tip of your index finger and that of your thumb with a ruler.

２－箸に印をつけます。
Mark the length previously measured on your chopsticks with a pencil.

３－のこぎりで余分な長さを切り落とします。
Using a saw, cut the remaining unnecessary part of your chopsticks.

４－箸の先端をやすりで丸くしていきます。てるてるぼうずの頭のように楕円形になるまで丸くしていきます。
Smooth the tip of your chopsticks with sandpaper so that it resembles an oval shape.

５－マーカーなどで色をつけていきます。（下地を塗る）
Color your chopsticks with markers. (This will be the base color of your chopsticks.)

６－少し乾かします。
Leave them to dry for a while.

７－模様などをつけていきます。
Design your chopsticks

８－出来上がり！
You are done!!

９－完成した箸を工房に送り、およそ一ヶ月後、漆を塗ってコーティングされたマイ箸が自宅に届きます。
Send your completed original chopsticks to the studio to have your chopsticks coated with Japanese lacquer. They will be delivered to your home in about a month.
